Rahul Bhatt is a respected civil engineer, educator, and entrepreneur, known for his contributions to engineering education and the construction industry in Jammu & Kashmir, India.

Rahul completed his early education in Jammu, from SP Smart School, Jammu. Motivated by a passion for construction and development, he pursued a Diploma in Civil Engineering, graduating in 2013. Continuing his academic excellence, he earned his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from Kurukshetra University in 2016.

After completing his B.Tech, Rahul began his professional journey as a lecturer at NITS Polytechnic, during 2016–2017. Driven by a desire to further specialize, he pursued a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from 2017 to 2019.

Along side his master’s studies, Rahul founded RMA Igniting Intellect in 2017, an institution dedicated to coaching civil engineering students. Under his leadership, over 250 students successfully graduated, many of whom have gone on to establish strong careers in engineering.

During the challenging time of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Rahul expanded his efforts into the education sector by founding HomeTwetta, a home tuition platform aimed at connecting students and teachers. From 2020 to 2022, HomeTwetta provided educational support to numerous students with the help of many dedicated teachers associated with the platform. Despite its initial success, Rahul faced operational challenges, which eventually led to discontinuing the platform after 2022.

In 2021, Rahul also became widely recognized in the mainstream media for his activism in the education sector. He led a protest against the technical board after exposing the mishandling of multiple-choice exam evaluations due to wrong answer keys. Utilizing his YouTube channel — where he had built a community of around 2.6k subscribers — Rahul raised awareness about the issue. His movement attracted significant attention and participation, successfully pressuring authorities to address the students’ grievances.

As the education sector struggled under the weight of the pandemic, Rahul decided to transition towards the civil engineering and construction industry. He began working on minor projects in 2021 and subsequently founded RMA Design and Construction — a company dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial building solutions.

From 2022 to 2025, under Rahul’s leadership, RMA Design and Construction achieved remarkable success, completing over 20 residential buildings and establishing a reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability throughout Jammu & Kashmir.

In recognition of his technical excellence and professional achievements, Rahul Bhatti was honored as an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) in 2023.
